Scorpio, the 8th House
Scorpio, the 8th sign of the zodiac, is the instigator of change through death and rebirth, therefore making the astrological 8th house responsible for all major transformations that we go through during our life experience. This is the house of our hidden truth, often feared and misunderstood it has been given the title ‘the house of death’. Similarly, the death card in the Tarot is possibly one of the most maligned cards, both in name and imagery, but it is important to note that for something new to begin another thing first must end. The number 8 is also about new beginnings and karmic balance, creating an equilibrium between the material and spiritual realms. Death is a mystery of life that many of us fear without knowing its greater purpose. This is the house where the sun sets, bringing forth a starlit expanse of beauty where this magnificent universe begins.
